We then confirm the order with the Leicht factory, refining and verifying every detail to perfection. Once finalized, we’ll provide you with the estimated delivery week.
1-2 weeks
Your order enters the production queue at Leicht’s state-of-the-art, 95% automated cabinetry factory in Waldstetten, Germany. On production day, your custom kitchen is manufactured, assembled, quality-checked, packaged, and loaded into a container—all in just one day. A few days later, we’ll provide you with a live tracking link to follow your cabinetry journey.
While most kitchens follow this streamlined timeline, special features, and unique finishes may require additional production time due to their intricate craftsmanship or specialized materials. If your design includes any such elements, our team will inform you early in the design process, ensuring you have full transparency on your kitchen's timeline and can plan accordingly.
7-8 weeks
Once your custom kitchen cabinetry is fully built and securely packaged at the Leicht factory, it is carefully loaded into a shipping container for transit. The container is then transported from the factory to the designated port in Germany, where all necessary export documentation and customs clearances are handled in advance to ensure a smooth departure.
At this stage, you can access a live tracking link to monitor your shipment's exact location and progress in real-time. Depending on shipping schedules and potential weather conditions, the ocean freight journey typically takes 2-3 weeks from Germany to the port of New Jersey.
Upon arrival at the port, the container undergoes customs clearance before being transported to our trusted logistics partner’s facility in New Jersey. Here, your kitchen is carefully unloaded, scanned, and visually inspected to verify that all components are accounted for and in pristine condition.
If you’re ready to receive your kitchen immediately, we can arrange for prompt delivery to your site. Alternatively, your cabinetry will be securely stored in our insured storage facility until you're prepared for installation, ensuring flexibility to match your project timeline.
3-4 weeks
